The advantage of the CO2 all-position welding car is that the car can largely replace the manual operation of the welder, and the welding production efficiency can be increased by more than 3 times through the control of multiple cars by one person. The advantages of the all-position welding car are as follows:
1) The car can adapt to the welding needs of various welding positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, upward) and various joints (butt, T-joint), and the control of welding swing can basically achieve similar actions to manual.
2) The car is powered by lithium battery, which can fully meet the complex and changeable production environment in the field segment, total group or loading (hull or dock) stage, and the equipment is reliable.
3) The car is simple to operate, and the welder can start the job after simple training.
At present, the all-position welding car is widely used in LNG series ships and 49000t chemical ships and other products. Due to the use of all-position welding car, the automation rate of LNG ship hull has basically reached more than 40% from the original about 30%, and the automation rate of 49000t chemical ship hull has also increased from the original about 20% to more than 30%, greatly shortening the hull construction cycle.
